 Boeuf River Retrievers
is a full
service training and breeding facility for the labrador retriever.
Located in Columbia, Louisiana, known best as "Sportsman's Paradise",
we are well versed on the many aspects of retriever sporting issues and
ideologies. We proudly serve as a resource beyond the sale of a puppies as we
offer training services from obedience issues through the advanced level of
training required for hunting and hunt testing environments.
 Owned and operated by Cathy Seay, we have specialized in breeding the
chocolate variety labrador since 1974. In fact, we bred the very First
Purple Ribbon Hunting Retriever Litter (pictured on the right). The
Purple Ribbon Seal indicates each of the 14 ancestors have been
registered with U.K.C.-- continuous pure breeding for three generations
-- six generations of known ancestors on record at U.K.C.
